Initial door entry was problematic as the key to the security door was inside the apartment and we had to wait until someone came out of the building to get in. The doors to the balcony opened but would not shut and although this was reported and an assurance given that the matter would be attended to, nothing happened. Overall we were pleased with the accommodation and enjoyed the holiday, although the resort was quite hilly, which made it difficult to get around and down to the beach area.

Compared to big resorts Puerto de Santiago was a quiet town perfect for resting and escaping from hustle and bustle. There were some buses to use nevertheless a car was a great option to move around the island from Puerto de Santiago. The beach was rather small with black sand.

The facilities were clean and the breakfast was good.
The facilities were clean and the breakfast was good. The pictures on line make it look far nicer then it is. Our balcony looked straight across the street into a residential building. The street was very loud. It is located at the end of a shopping strip. The location is far from beach and tourist spots.
I booked it on a 4 star rating but later found it is rated as 2 star.

Very nice place with stunning views but a lot of hills and a lack of artificial beaches. I prefer natural shore though but generally playa La Arena was the only choice in terms of beach time. Nice place to stay for 2 days and move somewhere else. There is almost nothing to do in the evening apart from a couple of bars. But I have to say during my 2 week stay in the winter, the weather was the best in Puerto Santiago and Los Gigantes area. Keep that in mind. Its also a good starting point to see Teide, Masca and Puerto de la Cruz but very far away from Santa Cruz. Next time I will 100% choose Santa Cruz instead of any Tenerife Sur town. Just too many tourists everywhere. Santa Cruz is different.
On the other hand nearby Los Gigantes offers many nice cruises, kayaks, e-bikes, trekking routes etc. So for more active people imo its a good place to be.

A lovely small place with a good choice of restaurants and bars. Probably not for younger holiday makers who may prefer a more lively resort. But if you like a nice relaxing holiday with a good selection of nice bars and places to eat then this is lovely. You must be reasonably fit as the road and paved areas are quite hilly. There are some nice walks to local villages and beaches if you like to walk a bit rather than just sun lounge all day. Lovely place for a relaxing holiday.

Normally we dont expect to get what you can see on the pictures in the internet but in this hotel everything was great! The location is really good especially if you don’t want to be in a big city environment but still have some bars and restaurants around. The view from the pool and the restaurant terrace is awesome. And the best for us was the stuff as everyone was really helpful and nice and everything was very clean. We just highly recommend this hotel and will definitely will come back. Thank Barcelo!
Apartment cleanliness was outstanding. Heated pool was a big bonus. Beds are great and a lot of room for four people. Washing machine and drying machine really good as well as own garage for rental car!! Bathrooms fulfilled our expectations. Mercadona supermarket almost next to the apartment. Kitchen was fully equipped. Small extra room was nice storage for luggage etc. Terrace was really nice to hang around. Very good wi-fi! Overall best apartment we have visited at Tenerife Island.
Very nice staff and very good food. We needed a doctor for our son and after that staff called us to see how is he doing and if we need any help and they have sent a little gift (landi cap) for hem directly to our room. Location of the hotel is great almost no wind. Nice clean pools. A lot of activities for kids. If I will need to recomend someone where to go in tenerife I will definitely recomend Landmar Los gigantes hotel. We hed a very nice stay there.
Friendly receptionist on check in, hotel very clean. Rooms are cleaned every 2 days but not a issue. Staff go above and beyond for you the hotel let us re heat food we brought back from outside, Martin at the bar is great! the entertainment guy nasko was brill. We are fussy eaters so eat out a few times but the food here has been better than other hotels in tenerife see you next year
Fantastic location near the beach, and easy travel to the more tourist orientated parts of Tenerife.
Villa was fantastic, really clean and tidy, pool was lovely and was a very comfortable temperature.
Free Wifi, Smart TV for the kids, right next door to amenities.
Washing Machine on site, particularly handy with 3 children.
Handy offroad parking at the rear with electric gates.
If you are looking for a comfortable and cozy place to stay with family in Tenerife, this is the place for you! Location - very good, even if you don’t rent a car, beautiful places, different kind of beaches, natural swimming pools are reachable by short walks. But if you are lazy going to the beach, you can relax in 3 different kinds of pools, which are outside your balcony 🙂
The owner is punctual responsive and friendly. The view was great and the proximity to two very good traditional fish restaurants was great. All you need in the apartment for cooking and washing clothes. A good place for me to relax for just under a week at reasonable prices for the time of the year in south Tenerife.
The hotel and it's location and facilities were amazing. Breakfast was good. Our room was quite nice but the finishes could be improved on. The pool was nice and so was the pool bar. Staff was friendly and very accommodating. We would recommend this place, but only if you would go with half board.
Nothing to complain about. Room is spatial and clean, the balcony is lovely and has a good view. Colleagues are nice. The hotel even has an own swimming pool. It has free parking places and not far away from the room
The best thing is that there is a Lidl just nearby, cheap and convenient.
Very friendly staff, great breakfast, located away from the tourist traps of Tenerife but close enough if you wanna go check those. Los Gigantes is not a party place, so I recommend this hostel for people more into hiking and into chilling on the beaches in the south of the island.
It was the best apartment I have ever rented. A huge terrace, cozy and well-designed apartment with all necessities, amazing view (sunsets!!!), all attractions nearby as well as a diversity of restaurants and shops, nice swimming pool, and last but not least - the host is amazing!
A really nice hotel, in a nice relaxed part of Tenerife. You can walk out and see amazing sunset views. The rooms are comfy, but not that extravagant. The food is decent - especially liked the salad options! And the massage I had in the spa was the best I’ve ever had!
Nice view from the balcony. Plenty of space for four adults. Very near to supermarkets. We would stay again if going to this resort but would probably look to another if going to Tenerife in the future. It was very good value for the price.
the most amazing property on the island or really anywhere in the world! everything worked, everything was clean, many extra towels, easy to use washer dryer, tons of parking and the best view you will find in Tenerife.. Indisputable
Location was perfect, delicious breakfast with a varied selection. The room was clean, towels were changed every 2-3 days. Very kind receptionist. In this price you won't find anything better in south Tenerife.
This was the best surprise during our trip. Great location, big rooms, awesome breakfast, super clean rooms and very kind staff. 11/10. Free parking on a street is not a problem.
Good heated swimming pool, big terrace. Hotel in good location. Lidl and other shopping markets very close. For us was very good to have 2 bathrooms in the family apartment9.
