The city of Kelowna is beautiful and has everything a traveller should need. Beaches, many Restaurants and hotels down town with a great variety within walking distance, many shops etc. But prices are very expensive there for everything. A vehicle is a must to get to most attractions because it is spread out. Many vehicle rental companies at the Airport, and some bike rentals down town. I did notice some boat excursions trips offered but I didn't use. Taxi is available but I didn't need any because I had a rental vehicle

To express my disappointment and concern regarding the treatment my aunt received during her recent stay at your hotel. I had made a reservation for her and specifically informed the reception that she would be arriving at midnight. I expected the staff to be polite, sensitive, and accommodating, considering the late hour and the cold weather.
Unfortunately, the experience was far from what we had anticipated. Upon my aunt's arrival, she was unable to provide a credit card as she had planned to pay for her entire stay in cash. They insisted on a credit card and did not offer any alternatives or accommodations for the night.
As there was a time difference, I only received the credit card form the next morning and can only send it on the same time. However, instead of understanding the situation and providing a solution, the staff simply called a taxi for my elderly aunt to leave the premises. I am appalled by the lack of empathy and disregard for her well-being. It is absolutely unacceptable to treat a senior guest in such a rude and disrespectful manner.
I believe that it is the responsibility of any hotel to prioritize the comfort and safety of its guests, especially when they arrive late at night. It is disheartening to see that the hotel failed to meet these basic expectations. I strongly urge you to address this issue and take appropriate measures to ensure that no other guest experiences such mistreatment.
I would appreciate an explanation for the actions of your staff and assurance that steps will be taken to prevent similar incidents in the future.

I personally live in Kelowna but my home was sold to developers and have been basically homeless for 4 months so that’s why I’ve been staying at hotels.
Kelowna is a nice place , just living here is tough . Years ago they called Kelowna “Canada’s Hawaii” because of our beautiful weather. Getting around Kelowna is easy I would say . Traffic is crazy in the summer with only one bridge in and out of town towards Penticton or Van .

Just an overnight stay on the way home.
Just an overnight stay on the way home. Airport a mess with expansion construction. Long walk to shuttle, need to improve this, I have a disability and made it very difficult. Also no airport restaurants open late, nowhere to eat if you arrive on a late flight.

Kelowna is absolutely beautiful and inviting it has all the right qualities and attractions to make anyone feel comfortable and welcome in our community. The views that surround you are breathtaking and there’s a beach or creek within a half mile to mile radius of you almost anywhere in the city. Walking paths and hiking trails are also of abundance here and there is no shortage of places to explore. Kelowna is a beautiful city and definitely worth putting in your vacation budget. Make it a big budget too a sit is a luxury that you pay for as prices are on the higher end of the markets

I lived in the area for many years and other than during wildfire season, the entire region is spectacular. There is so much to do, all year round! There are 5 or 6 top notch ski resorts, more wineries, golf courses and camp grounds than you can count, and the lakes have amazing beaches - especially Kal Lake which has a tropical feel mid-summer.
The hotel has had some renovations and is very quaint. The attitude of the staff was exceptional. They showed great concern for my comfort and were always willing to help The attached restaurant was also staffed with very pleasant and friendly staff. The balconies are small but had two Adirondack chairs and I was able to watch the Snowbird air show from there. It is right across the street from the waterfront park and a short walk to the pedestrian mall on Bernard St. I didn’t get to try the pool and hot tub but the facilities looked nice
This was my 3rd stay at Hotel Eldorado and as usual, it didn't disappoint. We didn't even leave the resort for the duration of our stay since everything we needed was right on site - beach, pools, little bit of shopping in The Boathouse, restaurants (from casual to fine dining) and a pub!
The staff were, as always, extraordinarily, patient, kind and helpful, despite the fact that it was prime tourist season and there were a lot of people to assist!
The breakfast and the staff!! Easily the best north continental breakfast I have had in a long time in Canada. The staff were all friendly as well which was a welcomed surprise when we had a layover in Kelowna. There’s also a shuttle that goes right to the airport that can be booked in advance with the hotel team. The rooms were clean and just what you need for a short term stay.
It’s a nice clean hotel, with very friendly and helpful staff. They are in a perfect location in Kelowna right beside the rec centre and close to the hwy and to various stores . And I think their prices are good for the area, anywhere else I looked were not as close to the downtown area and wanted more money. This is the third time I have come here and will come again .
The 'continental' breakfast was beyond continental. Eggs, fruit, bagels, hot and cold cereals, pastries.....it was amazing. Prospera Place is within walking distance. Walking distance to wonderful restaurants in downtown Kelowna. Free parking in their underground lot. The room was great with a mini fridge, coffee and city view.
My stay at Hyatt Place Kelowna exceeded my expectations. The staff were very friendly. From the moment I checked in to check out, I was accommodated to make sure my experience was great. My room was clean and comfortable. Overall, I was very happy and would recommend this hotel!
Conveniently located in the heart of downtown Kelowna, with wonderful views from the windows. Very clean and modern condo. A great indoor swimming pool with good temperature water. Very friendly and responsive owners. I would definitely stay there again!
Breakfast was excellent. Staff was friendly and helpful. Hotel was clean and well appointed. Room was large and comfortable. An exceptional value well situated between airport and downtown. Shuttle to airport a bonus. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
The location was right at the corner or the Park and the bridge to the West Kelowna.
The staff is super great and is willing to accommodate requests.
For an older building, they establishment upgraded certain items to meet the needs of today.
Great location. Usually book info the Marriott next door when we do Kelowna. Two bedrooms are overkill for a one night stay but the cost was lower than hotel. Would stay here again if we were staying longer.
This is our favourite place to stay when we come to Kelowna. Love everything. Proximity to airport, Kelowna and there are shops all around the hotel. Including both Tim Hortons and Starbucks.
Nothing. Booking.com lied about pet friendly...took our money and the hotel wouldn't let us stay with our pets and won't return communication about getting our money back. Pure fraud.
Great hotel, staff were extremely friendly. Room was very clean. Layout was odd but it didn't take away from the stay. We are in Kelowna often and would love to stay here again.
Great spacious apartment and easy access to explore the campus. We did the university tour. Easy bus into downtown Kelowna from the bus depot a few minutes walk away.
Well managed hotel in a good location of Kelowna. Very easy to access from the main highway. Lots of parking. It has swimming pool and hot tub. Breakfast was good.
